It’s been win after win for one of Hollywood’s most sought after actresses. Lupita Nyong’o maybe have stormed onto our stages as an actress on the critically acclaimed film ’12 Years a Slave’ but she’s been working hard ever since, to build both her name as a credible professional within her highly competitive field, as well as a brand in her own right, and a force to be reckoned with in the world of fashion and beauty.
Lupita is the face of Vogue Spain’s 2018 cover. And she looks stunning.

I am so proud of this cover story! ¡Que orgullo me da este número! Thank you @voguespain for celebrating me and my work by making me your cover girl this #voguenoviembre! It took a lot of people to build my blocks and get me to this point. #IAMWOMEN ¡Muchísimas gracias a @voguespain para darme la oportunidad de ser su ‘cover girl’ este Noviembre! Me doy cuenta que es por la influencia de muchas personas que estoy donde estoy hoy. #IAMWOMEN Photographers: @luigiandiango Stylist: @juancebrian Threads: @calvinklein Hair: @vernonfrancois Make up: @nickbarose Manicurist: @deborahlippmann Production: @2bmanagement (And thank you for celebrating my kinky hair for real!)
The journey to get to this point is not one that came easy for Lupita, no matter how it looks to other people. And the journey towards acceptance within the industry was challenging: “It took a lot of people to build the blocks that have made me who I am today”.
