Songstress Serro Set To Hold Down The First Picazzo Music Sessions

One of Kenya’s most buzzed about stars Serro is set to take center stage at the inaugural Picazzo Music Sessions – collaboration with the Jamhuri Festival.

The action goes down this Thursday from 7pm and Serro’s performance will be ushering in the festive period at the venue – located at The Hub.

Serro’s most recognizable work came through her smash hit tune “Rongai” and her focus remains on telling the African Story through her music which is fueled by Benga and Jazz infused Afro pop.

Speaking on her upcoming feature, she said the main vibe will be ‘high energy’: I cannot wait! Everyone come out; let’s have a good time as my band and I delivered an electric performance.”

She forms part of the Jamhuri Festival’s collective of artists killing Nairobi’s live music scene. With weekly performances from some of the top and upcoming artists in Kenya, Jamhuri Festival showcases a variety of Kenyan acts and celebrates their diversity. It was launched in 2015 through Eastlands based Block Parties and has since moved into prime city spots to provide music showcases and networking platforms for creatives.
